Selwyn Netball Festival

It is with great pleasure that the Selwyn Sports Trust brings you the Selwyn Zone Netball Fest 2023 at the Selwyn Netball Centre, Lincoln.
Primary schools from the Selwyn District will be coming together for an enjoyable day of Netball. The Yr5-6 grade will play 6 aside, and the Yr7-8 grade will play 7 aside. This event is all about having fun and enjoying a great day out with your team. It is an awesome opportunity for players, coaches, and umpires to learn and develop!
Important Timings
9.15 - Schools start arriving (we ask that schools are at the courts no later than 9.20am)
9.30 – Briefing for Teams (this will be held outside the netball pavilion)
10:00 - First game
2.00pm- Teams depart courts
General Information
Team dress up is highly encouraged!
Games will not be scored.
Schools need to bring a match ball per team entered. Size 4 for Yr5/6 and Size 5 for Yr7/8
We will have some spare balls for teams if required- these will need to be signed in and out by schools.
We will have spare bibs if schools need to borrow some- these will need to be signed in and out by schools on the day.
Rules
Team can be mixed gender (max 3 boys on court at any time).
Games will consist 10min straight games
No scores will be taken.
