Whakatipu Kaihautū Leadership

Introducing our refreshed Whakatipu Kaihautū Leadership Programme, now with a stronger focus on enhancing leaders’ wellbeing using physical activity as the vehicle for growth.

Guided by Wiremu Gray’s Te Whare Mauri Ora framework, the programme builds a strong hauora and cultural foundation. Our young leaders don’t just develop skills in sport; they grow into confident, resilient, culturally grounded individuals who are proactive in caring for people and place.

The programme includes eight 30-minute sessions led by one of our leadership experts. Each participant receives a workbooklet to support their learning. It is designed for tamariki in years 5, 6, 7, and 8.
